I have a 87 ford ranger 4x4 ext. cab. I whated to know whats the biggest tire size i can get on it. I was thinking 30s or 31s. Does anyone know whats the biggest size I can get without it rubbing

I'm in the process of restoring a '92 Ranger that was used as a farm truck and I'm turning it into a street cruiser. I went from a set of 14's to 18's 245/45ZR18 They're Vitus Sport low profiles with American Racing rims and I have to say they look awesome! I also replaced the worn out shocks with Monroes. It would depend on what you plan to use the truck for I think 30's might be too big unless you're going rock crawling. Although I think the dearlership you go to might be more helpful. You'd probably need a lift kit for tires that size.
