Lincoln engine swap

I have a 1990 Lincoln Town Car with a 5.0 engine. I also have a 1992 with a 4.6L. The problem is that the 5.0 has NOOOO power compared to my 1992. I've learned the my 5.0 has 150Hp and the 4.6L has 220Hp. I'm thinking of swapping the engine and trany but have no clue on the difficulty and if the 4.6 would fit in the 1990. I also know that I have to swap all the wiring and comp.

So if anybody has any information on this let me know.

the 4.6 should be able to fit into the car but difficulty would be quite high and cost some money unless you know people or do it yourself

Personally, I'd look for a 5.0 HO from a Mustang, or take the money you would have had to spend swapping the 5.0 for your 4.6 and use it towards performance mods for the 5.0.
