After saving forever(it seems at least) at a crappy part time job and reading/looking at pictures of cars being jealous of all you guys I found the car I loveeee. It's a 95 Z28 with the t-tops and 6 speed(still new to a standard, stalled it during the test drive). I didn't want to fall in with the crowd of kids my age who drive crap boxes with $4000 stereo or a car bought by parents, and I'm very happy I saved up to be able to do so. I just got the car today so I'm still on the new car high, I've never driven anything more powerful than a bonneville, this thing PULLS. I knew it was a real fast car but i have never been sucked into my seat before, I'll try and resist the urges to speed and race on the street..but when an annoying fartcan asks me to put it out of its misery with its whine(didn't trash any type of car there) I dunno how I'll respond :uhoh:.
I'll post some pictures here as soon as i can find a place to host/figure out how...

i remember my first car too, it was a 92 RS and we had put a 350 tbi in it, not a good idea for an 18 year old kid...one day i was flying and it was pouring the rain and i came around a turn doing 90 and the back end spun around and i smacked a bridge with the driver side of the car right where the front of the door starts, it ripped the firewall out and ripped the bell housing, twisted the engine up on its side, knocked 2 wheels completley off, it spun around and hit the bridge again with the back of the car, if i'd have had my seatbelt on i would have lost my legs...i broke my collar bone into and had 4 wires holding it together and 22 staples and i split my shoulder blade....moral of the story, be careful in your new car and take care of it!

Nah, they didnt have that blinker right next to the 2 front headlights like that, im sure its like a Ford, or an Olds Cutlass but they're almost like the Monte Carlo and back then the top part of the car was very edgy

Haha, yeah. Anyway about the messed up Camaro there, did you part it out? I mean looks like you could've taken off some of the stuff because not all of it was messed up AND could still use some money.
666_speed
08-20-2005, 05:04 PM
nah we didnt part it out, i was pretty sore and lost interest in it, we still have the car parked behind the body shop we own...nah i didnt get ejected but where i hit from the side it pushed me up and over the seat and i had some kicker contender speakers in the back hatch and i hit them which kept me in the car but knocked out the glass in the hatch...it broke the drivers seat out and bowed the car so much not a whole lot was still usable, even the interior was pretty well screwed! i held on to the steering wheel when i hit and flew back it bent the steering wheel over double and it knocked the whole steering column loose....its pretty fucked!

Iam really surprised how many people buy the 4th generation now and actually work on them.I guess the 80s are old school today.I remember how some 3 years ago lots camaro people would not make that choice even though had the money to buy. Some said that the body style was "ugly".Stange...

I am wondering what the cost of a 93-94 v6 (high mlg 5spd) camaro be in Seattle area or Oregon. I live in Vancouver BC Canada, and it seems that cars down in the US are significantly cheaper. How hard are they to find?

Or an older one, or whatever as long as its an Fbody that runs and looks good, because man.. the front wheel drive Monte Carlo isnt cutting it on the fun level, rear wheel is just soooo much better.

nice car, loved the green that year. if i were you i would take off that bra. cause after a few years of pain fade the paint under the bra still looks new and its just wrong... it happened to me, i got my whole car repainted after that. kept the orig color tho, cause its so rare around my place.

Yea I was going to at first but there is quite a few rocks around here from the winters and gravel roads...so I think I might take off the bra for summer and put it on for spring, cus the winters are crappy up here. I checked under there and the paint isnt different at all, but theres a few scratches from small rocks getting stuck under there(i stress few).

green happens to be the color of the camaro im gonna see about getting, if it has low enought miles on it, but it wont be green for to long, after i get, the car im looking at has power everything execpt windows... who the f buys a car with power everything execpt windows? so i guess i will just buy 2 full power doors from a junk yard, and the firewall forward of a 98+ camaro (fenders, front bumper, all the good stuff in the middle) so i can do a conversion, + see about buying all the t-top stuff as well while im there.
and again congradulations on the camaro man
