It is definetly worth it as long as the car is in good condition,

It being automatic, will mods still have the same effect?

Ask the guys that race running 10's if their auto tranny depletes the effect of mods done to the engine.
Just because you have an auto tranny does not make the mods you do to the car any less effective. If you look at many professional racers, they are running on autos.
However, many people would prefer a 5 speed, including myself.

how much you getting it for, and whats the condition and what about mileage? But as far as automatics hampering the performance.... Maybe true as far as stock is concerned. But remember, the more you mod, the better times you will have, and in an auto your times will be more consistant.

HOLY SHIT....... I hate you...... I want to get a DSM daily driver becuase I'm tired of putting miles on the GSX. Wanting to get a 96 GS Convertable or GST Convertable 5speed manual.
Jump on that car if it's clean and mechnically sound. If you don't, send it out here to cali, I know tons who will......... Me included :naughty:

Congrats on the dsm. I have fun with my car even though its an auto. I got mine for a sweet price too so I didn't really care too much. Both trannys have their negative's and postive's like anything. Before you get modding. Do all your maintance and find out info on when your belts were changed including the all mightty timing belt. Good luck.
