Main Relay---88 HB

Where exactly is the Main Relay for a '88 hatchback and how do you fix them. Do you have a buy a new does it just need to be repaired. I was told that you can just soder a couple of wires back together for a better connection. What would be best? Approx. how much would a new one be. If anyone has a diagram of where it is or knows a website where it shows it please share...thanks

Its behind the kick panel on the drivers side, to replace you take the old one off and plug the new one in - about 80 bucks from honda. I'v heard of people resoldering them but that usually is just a temparary fix.

any parts store should have them for about $40-$50

better to just replace it

inbetween the coin box and hood release latch; behind the kick panel. there's a single 10mm bolt holding it on.
