Chip for better gas mileage

Now that we see the fruits of Congress' non action, and gas prices way higher than normal (heck it's almost double from 1 1/2 years ago) - does anyone know of a chip for the computer that will run the engine more efficiently. Maybe advance the timing or something?
Someone could make a lot of money reprogramming chips...

Yeah, where are those hundred-mile-per-gallon carburetors that the oil companies are supressing???
Realistically, I wouldn't expect much improvement in mileage if you still have to meet emissions standards. First guess: GM has already sacrificed power in order to optimize fuel mileage--as evidenced by all the chips claiming better power.

I recommend starting with the intake system. That should help with milage.
