car won't start

My 1993 Mercury Sable Wagon, 3.8 did not start on Monday. I changed the starter on Tuesday and all was well. Now on Saturday, I have the same problem with the car not starting. Both times, the power to all electricals worked. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS?????
