Front end vibration with light braking

My 98 Blazer gets a vibration in the front when applying the brakes lightly. If the brakes are applied harder, the vibration goes away. I replaced the rotors and pads (Bosch rotors and metalic pads) thinking it was a brake issue which seemed to diminish the vibration, but not delete it. Any thoughts?

Honestly it sounds like warped rotors. I had the same thing happen 12k into a new set of rotors and pads. Good luck

It was still there with the brand new rotors.

Did you check your rear rotors? Since you start off braking lightly the rear brakes are working almost as hard as the front brakes but as you brake harder the rears work less. The rear brakes only do about 30% of the braking under moderate to hard braking so your pulsation could go away with harder braking.

Good thought ! The rears have a few more miles than the fronts had, but I didn't think of changing them. Thanks, I'll try it.

Does sound like warped rotors. But could it be ball joints? Maybe tires need balancing? Check the brake fluid level?
