temp light comes on ac quits

The red light comes on about three blocks after you drive and the air quits blowing cold I had a temp sending sensor installed and this did not correct the problem but the car does not act like it is hot (no overflow or bubbling) please any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Ashton

Have you noticed any rattling noise from the belt/water pump area? Have the computer scanned for fault codes. If it doesn't overheat the sensor may still be bad.
