I think I really have only just one question and that is where is the best place to wire from my ignition switch? Or something to the rightside of the car that will allow me to turn on/off the injection while the car is running.
I will be installing a switch and a few other things also, can I wire everything from the same wire? Or is it best to do it in different spots...I planned on just using 3M clips and running 1 wire from my power source, then all the other things off the wire( figure thats the easy way).

Why do people use alcohol/water injections? I've read about it before, I just dont know why its done.

It helps cool the intake temperature down. When the turbo compresses air it causes the intake air temp to rise. This causes the air to thin and leads to engine knocking.

Awesome, did you get a kit or did you buy the stuff seperately? I'm planning on making my own kit cause you can do it for like a third of the cost, are you going to run straight water or a water/alcohol mixture? When i make my kit i'm gonna get a pressure switch so it will turn on at like 18psi.

The charge temp reduction is only a very minor part of the benefit of water/alcohol/methanol injecton. The real benefit is from what happens in the combustion chamber. Water has around 7 times the latent heat capacity of fuel. In other words, it will absorb 7 times more heat energy in the conversion from a mist to a gas/vapor. Thats where the real temp reduction is done ;) It also acts as somewhat of a buffer supressing out of control burn rates.
There is a guy on the DSMlink forums that posted up a log of his car running exactly the same airflow and settings as my car when it went 11.3 at 126, except he's on 91 octane ;) He runs a mixture of 75% methanol to 25% water, injected at rate of 20% of fuel flow (system taps into the injectors to determine this ratio) rather than just off/on. Pretty slick setup. And moving 65 lbs/min all day on the street is sure to be a good time. ;)

Yea I just bought the kit, I have a really nice box Im gonna install in my trunk that fits to the sides of the trunk almost perfect, but my damn FP decided to basically come apart where i connected it, so it took like an hr or so for diagnostics, trips to the autoparts store, figuring out which way my plugs were supposed to go :) and then finally finishing around 7:30....I hope I have sunday off, I might just say I have plans and I cant work
