:disappoin I dont get it...My 96 Talon will stay running half of the time...and then die after a min. or right away. when It stays runnin it idles at 1 rpm. I just re did the whole motor and dont understand. could it be vaccum, fuel. what, all the spark plugs are new and firing, theres oil, antifreeze, all the fuses are good, the fuel injectors are getting fuel to its destination, the only thing that helped it stay runnin half the time was unpluging the egr valve...please help Ive never dealt with a dsm before and this car hasnt run since I bought it...
thanks,

well first of all the solution brought another problem so... when it didnt stay running while the engine was go, but turned over fine and ran when I completely dissconnected the egr seloniod, turns out I looked inside the egr s. where the computer plugs in and there was only one prong where there shouldve been two, not to mention when I took it off and shook it, there was no ball inside the seloniod, solution, I got a another seloniod and plug from a friend who owns a junk yard. spliced the plug wires hooked it up and wella, problem solved, or so I thought. It ran for about twenty minutes till it got just above warm and poof, she shut down, and there was nothin I could do to restart it, couldnt keep it runnin with gas so I figured, sensor, so I borrowed an ohm tester from my dad and the first thing I tested was the culprit, the front oxygen sensor. got another one of those and she runs like a beauty. :-)
