Im not sure if this will help but I have a 90 Ranger that did that. But it only did it on one side and it pulled so hard to that side that it felt like a flat. Turned out that the caliper was freezing up in the engaged position. I just kept driving it til I got home and changed out the caliper and it didnt do it again for a couple of years. Did it again once or twice and I have never figured out what caused it. I suspect that since the caliper wasnt the culprit, it must be a metering device of some sort; I just havent gotten around to digging into it any deeper. But yours could be something similar, maybe something like a proportioning valve engaging the brakes. So you may wanna jack it up and see if it spins or not.
