Help!!!

i have a 93 si del sol and i was goin down the highway today and it as at lik 7000rpmn and alll the sudden it lost all power and shut off and when i started it back up the motor was knocking and the check engine light was on and the oil light so i checked the oil and it would even read on the dip stick which is funny cause its never done that before so i put a quart in it and it still didnt so i put 4 more in it and filled it up and when i started it it stopped knocking but if you rev it to like 3 its knocks hard is that a rod bearing or something else i just need to know and what all i have to do to fix it like turn the crank or anything...thanx.

Sounds like you may have thrown a rod. You will have to drop the oil pan to asess the damage.
