i have a 1988 nissan stanza while starting it the other day i pressed the clutch to start it it was fine, then i pressed it again to shift in reverse then i heard a crunching sound the felt a break underneath the pedal it felt like. no the clutch pedal goes all the way to the floor with no resistance at all, the car will still start but cant press clutch to shift into gear. the clutch has no resistance and is totally loose, when its fully depressed i can see a gray wire slightly move( the wire runs underneath hood). there is no other movement or broken pieces around pedal
