87 dodge ram 50 pickup

this truck will be running fine, and then it suddenly acts like its not getting gas. we sit still for a few minutes and then it will drive fine again, any suggestions...maybe fuel pump? not sure where it is located.

Try a new fuel filter,your fuel filter could be partially stopped up and just letting it get a little fuel to run on till it runs it out.
