My compressor makes alot of noise so i went and bought some pag oil and low side guage. The pressure is 55-60psi which is yellow the alert area right before danger! Should i continue to put the oil in or let some pressure out of the low side if so how do i let pressure out. It does blow cool air.

Compressors get noisy after years of use. Not much you can do about that. I once overcharged a system with too much oil and it got very VERY noisy.
Its best to evacuate the entire system and drain out the old oil. Then put in the proper ammount of fresh new oil and reevacuate and recharge.

It's probably a good idea if he takes it to the mechanic to have it evactuated.

PAG (Poly Alkaline Glycol) was the first lubricant used in R-134A systems. POL is the current one-be sure and check which is the recommended lube for your system.
