hey everybody. this might be a stupid question, but does anyone know if there is a difference in short shifters for years 94-97 and 98-00 for the integra? i thought they were the same for 94 through 00/01.
is there also a difference in them for the type of trans? LS/GS/RS/GSR? i'm looking for a GSR shifter and the one that I have now is not as wide at the base as the OEM one (where it bolts into the shift rod). i'm trying to find a new one, but the ads say - 94-00 all or it's for the LS/GS/RS.

Yea the base part on any short shifter will never be the same as OEM. It's shorter so i suggest you put some metal washers in there and jam 2 rubber washers in there(one on each side) so the metal washers dont vibrate and make an annoying sound. I believe all the short shifters are the same but the GSR has a shorter throw stock than the LS and also closer gears. Good luck to ya though.

also invest in some stiffer, polyurthane bushings, cause you might miss the shits with the shorter shifter
