the end of the cell phone charger fell out and shorted against the side of the lighter. i saw it spark.
well now it doesn't work. ok, a blown fuse.
so my trusty manual tells it is number 24. a 15A fuse.
i lay on the floormat, find it, pull it. completely fine!!! ohm meter says so too.
rear seat cigar plug works, console one doesn't.
so where is the problem/fuse?
local dealership where i bought it was ZERO help too.
ideas/tips?
thanks,
steve

well my wife came home and found the CORRECT fuse in the manual. clearly she is better than a service person at a ford dealership!
it isn't even inside the cockpit.
the "Power Ports" are #7 and #9 in the fuse box under the hood next to the brake master cylinder.
the fuse is a square, blue, 20A big hunk of plastic.
stupid me was looking for a "cigar/cigarette" labled fuse under the dash. :banghead:
