i agree...i dont find that car all that attractive, i'd much rather have the RS package and the hideaway headlights...god i love hideaway headlights and with the money spent on that car i could own pretty much all first gen RS's

It wasn't made to look good. They just made them so chevy was able to race um. It is basically a stock 69' coupe with a big ass engine. I like what formula lt1 said if you would buy it, it would just sit there. I want a yenko like in 2fast2furious, blue w/ white stripes and can kick imports asses. That would be sweet.

There's also an auction going on the last 3rd gen to roll off the Van Nuys plant, and the definative last 3rd gen built. All the plant workers signed it in various locations. Pretty cool info to check out.

id rather buy a dodge viper, and bore & stroke the engine to its limits, put all forged internals on it, then stuff a big ass twin turbo set up on it, then find an empty high way and go get my self killed.

You do know this Camaro is pumping out about the same amount of power? This thing is also a 12 second car. Vipers have a hard enough time trying to break into the 11s.

There are thousands of Vipers out on the road, probably under 50 of these.

enzo's look as straight as a damn circle...those are butt ugly it looks like a word enzo. i would get me a 300,000 dollar house and do things to my camaro that would make the world double take for that kind of loot. great car that was built for its time, but now and days all that cars worth is a parking spot in my built show room in the back hall. and im telling u buying a car for it to just sit is pretty damn sad! im sure its worth the cash but im going for speed not rare. hell 12 sec is ok for a car that old but now and days a brother is on the 10 hunt.

maclaren f1, that car is even badder then an enzo, costs a lil more to, but it can get you from 0-60 in like 3.2 seconds.

I am a huge fan of first gens and that is one sweet top of the line first gen but honestly, I HATE the looks of that car. In a different color it may make my balls turn blue but the way it is does nothing for me and no I am not all about looks but I can also promise you for the money the guy is looking for or 1/10 of it. I can buy a car that will stomp the shit out of it and not even have to pick up a wrench to do anything. Again I have always wanted a blue with white stripes 69 SS or Red with white stripes, always been one of my dream cars but for some reason I really really don't like the looks of the car like that and it must be the color.

I think the first gens look nicer than the 2nd or third, very classic look too em, and for some reason I'm not a big fan of old cars at all, but I just love 1st gen 'maros. The only thing that looks bad on em are the tires (at least on that one) and the headlights.

but for that kind of money I'd get myself a few cars, including a maybach twin turbo V12. Such a sweet car, the interior looks like you're riding in a 747. And possibly the new killer Mercedes with like 600+ horses. and an 02 WS.6 for my daily driver, cause its my dream car. and with the left over money I'd buy the biggest house on star island, an actual 747, Nigeria, etc. etc.

Yeh, dont like the color of that Camaro, didnt even know they made em in that color. Shit green.. im with John on the colors here.. but not just ANY Blue.. LeMans blue, with the white stripes.. excellent. Thats going to be my color first gen when I get one.

plain ass looking car but will kill justabout anything on the road (with traction, lol)doing up an lt1 like a zl1 would mean u take off all ur fancy parts and return ur exterior to stock. then build the hell out of ur engine.

they only made 69 of these cars, so thats part of the reason why its so rare. And rally sport 92, this car has a 427, an Aluminum block (ZL1) 427. And blown, this IS a COPO. Central Office Production Order, you had to specially order these cars. It was a plain 6 cylinder body with a hood scoop and a 4 speed.

i thought they canceled the 07 camaro. hot rod or one of those mags said that gm canceled the zeta platform which the new camaro was suppose to be based on. im not getting my hopes up.

Yes they cancled it or the original platform. The thing is that GM is coming out with a new rear wheel drive that will either be the new GTO, Chevelle or Camaro. It still hasnt been said which is coming out for it but I remember it was suppost to be out in like.. 09? or something.

Also TC, I dont care much for the COPO, really plus I know its exactly like a Yenko except there's more of Yenkos. I know what it is too because i've read the Camaro history. :D

id shave all that crome off and put some 19s on it, and paint it black with flames.

I like the way it looks now, doesnt need any adjustments, probably a new/better engine or something.
