300M cuts out at speed?!

Hi all,
I've got an 01 300M with 87k miles. Only thing its been sent to the dealer for is the rack n pinion. Anyways, at speed anywhere between 15-70 mph, the engine cuts out! :uhoh: You lose all power. It does it intermitantly, so its hard to get it to cut out on cue. Before it would cut out at 65 mph, then come on again after half a second or so, now it cuts out and stays off until a restart in PARK. I tried pulling codes but none were detected. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have your tech replace the input and /or output speed sensor. Inexpensive repair. I don't know all the technical details, but this happened to me. I found out about the output speed sensor on another board and replacing it solved my problem.

Also check your battery. If it is old then Autozone or some other parts house can check it for you. The connections are notorious for corroding and going bad. You may need new connections and/or a battery. Check the additional connections too, the ones where you can jump your car.
