Is FL a good place to live? im trying to decide between there and SoCal. Is FL country and slow? I know FL weather sucks but what are the good things about FL.

Well, theres a bunch of rich pricks in West Palm Beach. Jacksonville is a Shit hole :) Daytona is great to visit, but living there is another story. I would say go to Tampa....

florida is ok. I've lived in the Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, Merritt Island area since 1991. I've been to West Palm, Orlando, Tampa, and
Jacksonville, Daytona---wouldn't live in any of those towns. Take a peak at the east cost of central florida, brevard county. Hello to all in Florida.

I used to ride a Yellow / Black GSXR 750 with a green headlight. The only green headlight in town. :) I rode with Gerald, David, Keith, Kenny, etc. Recognize any of them?

I picked up a Red 94 Civic EX recently (stock for now). I know where the Kmart is and I'll stop by on Thrusday. I'll look for your car.

Well I made it out there Thurs night. Pretty decent turnout from what I saw. turbcivic was that your ride there with the big speaker box in back? I saw it but there were usually 5-6 people around it so didnt know who you were. lol

We have alotta tuner shops here in Orlando-s3 tunning,FinishLine motorsports,CarFashions,and a few others, but these are the most well known guys. Like Finishline from the looks of it does pretty good work assuming since their is always packed. Either that or people keep comming back to get shit fixed,lol.

i am gonna go with a no. It took two weeks to get me lug nuts cause they misordered the set after i pointed out the correct set three times. They are just a bunch of wannabe F&F racers. I saw a couple of the orlando Car Fashions cars out at sonics and you guys get the props you deserve. I was under the impression you guys are the same shop.

I don't know the spacifics but there's a chance it's the same but handled by someo nes bro or something. But then again I don't know.

i live in boca raton, part of westpalm but sorry to say im not rich haha i got my pos 2600 buck '92 hatchy stock. Now im fixing it up, hoping it'll come out decsent -)

I recently moved to Tampa, Florida, from Columbia, Missouri..big difference..here's what I've found...

- In Missouri when it's hot, you can open the windows, and a nice cool breeze comes in...in florida, you open the window, and it only makes it worse!

-The humidity will murder you...
-Mosquito's are a living hell! I didn't have a mosquito bite all summer, and my first week living here in Tampa...I'm covered!

Good things...the car scene is pretty sweet. LOTS of car shops around here...110% more than Midwest cities. The weather is pretty consistent...nice day, nice day, nice day, nice day..you get the drift.

I'm on the border of St. Pete/Tampa (really it's all the same) and I've lived here all my life. I personally think that if you want something lax and want to still have a bit of good, West Central Florida isn't bad at all. You have St. Pete which is pretty low key, nice places to live (apt./homes) and a few things to do..mainly beaches (the most beautiful...up there with Cali minus the mountain sky line) and good bars (beach, irish pubs, etc.). You also have Tampa which is a bit more busy (dwntwn, Bush Gardens & Adventure Island [women in bikini's!!!:biggrin:], clubs, restaurants, etc.).
Yeah...it's humid as heck and there are misquito's but that is the trade off....not a bad one if you ask me.
That's pretty much our area in a nutshell...pretty good stuff but it's also pretty lax....
