hi I bought an aftermarket tachometer for my 93 grand am 2.3 coz mine didnt come with one. the tachometer has 4 wires I fugured the rest except for the green one that suppose to go to the selenoid wire which mine is kinda different from others because a I dont have a distributor.??? can anyone tell me where to hook up the green wire where i can get pulse for my engine?thank you

The factory tach is controlled by the ecm on the quad motors, maybe if you find a wiring diagram for one with a tach you might be able to figure out which wire to tap into, just be careful so you don't wreck the ecm.

thanx a lot...I just found out that i will have to have a tach adapter since i have two coils..everytime i connect those two coils my car wont start and if i connect it to one coil my tach can only read half of the RPM so Im looking forward on getting an adapter to make all these thing much easier..thank you.

sounds like you found an easy way, if you can't get that adapter I would think you could tap into your crank position sensor. Just an idea, im sure if there's a harness out there, there is a reason for it.
