what are the best plugs to use for towing ( 318 ).I heard that cooler plugs are good for towing? does any one have any recomendations.

that's all myth. use the plugs the manufacturer recomends if the engine is stock.

I have noticed one thing with plugs though Hazz was that a platinum tipped one will give you a bit better acceleration than a the standard. I discovered this with one of my other vehicles when I swapped plug types. Wasn't looking for any improvement but did notice it gained some acceleration ability.

good point. i have heard others say the the same thing. ive never noticed it myself but they definately last longer.

onother good point of platinum plugs, twice the life..four times the price, you can do the math on that one.

Hmm... Never had then be 4x here for the AutoLite Single Platinum. Usually they're a dollar or two more than the standard 4 pack.
