why a 92-95 4dr civic?

I'm not sure if this is true, but I was reading on this site that the 92-95 4dr civics are lighter than the coupe. Now why the hell would this be true. I have a 94 coupe and I'm pissed about this, not that I care............4dr=ugly. I just want to know why, if it is true.
