My friend has a 95 tallon ESI and ALL of the dash lights and the console(tach, speedometer, fule, ect.) are out. With the exception of the door ajar, and high-beam indicator lights. Also the rear lights and the turn signals are out. The previous owner said this all went at once.

All of the controls work fine, just no lights.

Also, there is also NO stereo in the car, but their are TWO wiring harnesses with close to 30 wires between them!!! Where can I get the connector for this?

Any help would be great.

That is all on one fuse.

When isntalling a radio, most people blow this fuse. Damn DSMs have problems with aftermarket radios, or the lack of a radio. You said there is no connector on the wires? The power ones may have touched and blew that fuse. That fuse IS THE EASIEST FUSE TO BLOW. Fillin more info about the lack of radio please.

Well, lack of radio is an understatement, When he got the car the whole center console was taken apart. The main thing that got me on the radio is that their is nearly 30 wires between the 2 harnesses. What do all of these extra wires go to?
I tried to check the fuses but didn't have the book or anything to tell me what fuse this one was.

Its all for the radio. They go for the speakers and power. I believe the fuse for it is in the engine comparetment. Its the little black box on the drivers side right behind the headlight. The box shows all the fuses and what they for. Check the one that says 15a taillamp.

Hey, whats up? did you get the light on your gauges working?..i have the same prob.....a cable behind my radio made contact with something and now the gauge lights wont work.....let me know if you were able to fix it and if you have the diagram for the under dash fuse box, i would appreciate it if you could send it to me.

This has happened to me also. When you get your stuff fixed let me know what you did, I have tried everything. I have checked all the fuses, all are fine. Also checked all the wires to the radio, there was one wire that was hooked up wrong so I changed it and my cd player started working, but, yeah theres a but. If I have it up to loud it goes out, and when I have to turn my lights on it goes out. Still have not got around to checking my dimmer switch ground but I am going to try and check that this eve when I go and fix my exhaust.

when my alternator stopped working, i had a problem like that. the radio would work fine, but if i turned the lights on or either left or right blinker, the radio would reset. this probably isnt whats going on with your car, but im bored and felt like posting.

If your gauge lights aren't working then most likely your tail lights aren't either. I had this issue and it was becuase I blew that fuse that was mention a couple of posts back but when I put the fuse back in It started a dash fire at my dimmer switch. The cause was the 2 orange wires that come with the after market wiring harness touched together and fused and burned up my dash. So before you check that fuse make sure that these wires aren't crossed or else you'll be regreting it.

Also if you are having issues with your stereo turning off when you turn on your lights, then check your ground. I had this issue when I installed a stereo in one of my fellow workers car and everytime I turned on the lights the stereo would turn off. So I used my handy dandy Test light to check the ground to see it would turn off when I turned off the lights and it did so there I knew that I need a better ground so I secured it directly to the chassis.

Let us know what fixes it.
