tinting

I hope you guys have some tips on tinting the rear window. What to use to get pro results? Where to go if theres a place? How to make it last?

it depends. I would rather do it myself if there is a product that wont wrinkle or bubble. Its Canada and it doesnt look like threre re tint shops that take on the job.

40 bucks? You serious? I freaking heard like a special on the radio for about 120-200 dollars on all windows, I was like :eek7:

I'm gettin custom tint any way 20% is to light as you can see..LOL!

if u are doing it yourself, practice makes perfect when it comes to tint. i myself pay for it to be done, 120 got me 10% on the sides, 5% on the rear, and 30% on the front windshield, and 10% on the t tops. hell u cant see in my car at all. as far as where to go i have no clue where u live, in virginia, florida, and philly i could tell u where to go, but your best bet is look in the phone book dude.

Like I said baby, just goto Mexico like I did, LOTS of shops near the border just looking for work. $40 bucks for all my windows.

Also may I say that factory tint SUCKS, my Monte has it and its like 95%..

my '98 is black and has 5% all the way around including ttops except the windshield, 20% is also legal here, but for the same price 5% seemed more worth it...i agree have someone else do it, my dad tried tinting the windows on his ram and it looked pretty shitty pretty quick, i think i paid right at $100 having all that tinted which is pretty cheap compared to as high as $350 i got quoted some place...

If you want to try it, buy enough to do one of the door windows. Once you find out how fun it is, you probably won't attempt the rear.

Save yourself from a huge headache and have it done, it's one thing that's just not worth doing yourself.

The shadow thing in the pic. Is flowers. The pic was taken when I was in Los Angeles seeing my cousins, I just got the car back from the tint shop that day.

nah, i only said something about the park job becasue i just did the road test and they gave me hell for being like 6 inches from the curb, 6 inches is legal but any thing more and you will get a ticket, but you could be parked on the curb and still get a ticket for being to far away.

I am chilled. I work nights and got woke up early for a ATV accident on the sand dunes here. So I went with the fire department and we take out 6 quads. I had to ride in the ambulance on the way in to help with the trauma patient. So I have not had alot to sleep and maybe took Vipers coment alil to personal. Specially sence I can paralell park a fire truck. Trust me that is not easy. So now I am stuck at work had to clean up the ER from eve shift and now I am bored as hell wanting some more truama. However I don't wish for anyone to be hurt but if they are hurt please come to my ER. :grinyes:
