i'd say forget about it, i i used to onw a 92 gs a long time ago, i got the same CAI , i kept trying for like a week, and ended up installing it in my uncles chevy s-10, lol, if you wanna do it , i believe you have to buy an adapter, but i'm not sure,

That's not a CAI, I don't care what they say. That is a short ram. You probably won't notice much of a difference with a short ram. What air flow meter thing are you talking about? Pictures would be good. The only thing I can think of that you are talking about is the breather that connects to the top of the valve cover?

What I think he's talking about is the mass air flow sensor (the giant thing on the end of your stock intake that holds the air filter), I think hes asking how to make it work because the pipe that he bought has like a little tiny pipe that comes off of it in like the middle of the pipe and supposidly the MAF sensor is suppose to connect to this. I'm having the same issue help me too.

thats exactly what im talking about
and the problem is i cant fit that sensor in my air filter because its too small and doesnt line up
the 1 hole on the pipe goes to the intake manifold
it would work but i cant get my MAP air flow sensor in there and the check engine light comes on and throws codes

I considered cutting my stock intake right at the first bend from the MAF sensor and just clamp both the pipes together but I didn't want it not to work and be out an intake, that would be horrible :shakehead. So I never put mine on and it just sits in it's box it was shipped in cause I never knew what to do.

Man you shoulda saved your money. This thing is redicilous. Its the cheapest air intake on ebay and you will probably need a little more modifications to the car to make it fit. And how is it cold air if its sucking air from under the hood ? (where air is the hottest ???) If you are going to make a 92 Gs fast, my advise is to spend your money else where. Its just not worth it :(. I have an RS and I have so much stuff done to it and its still slow. Only way to make it fast is rebuild engine and turbo it. Thats what I am doing :) My idol engine ---->

honestly i just wanted the sound from the mod intake, not to mention the pipe for my stock intake pipe melted so i needed to get something.
i like it plus the air filter is cleanable
its not for speed if i wanted to go faster i would turbo it

O I hear ya I really didn't care at all if the car performed better but that sound when you shift at high RPMs brings a tear to my eye. :crying:

I have temporary AEM V2 intake and I have to say that bastard is hella loud man. I get asked a lot of its a turbo because of the intake sounds. It will be very soon :) (hopefully)

Even after I figured out that the hook up was not going to be easy I emailed the seller for instructions (of course they failed to send any). They claimed that the MAF sensor should just hook up to the little nipple on the pipe but that nipple is for the line from the Valve Cover. And since there was a no return policy on the purchase I was f#$ked.

well after i hooked it up the car fails to accerate. it bogs out immediately. i guess that map sensor is important i tryed to leave it out
so i cant get it to work. i threw the stock one back on and it works good. i duct taped the hole in it

Connect the cold air intake pipe into the base of the MAF and the cut the end off of the cone filter and place it over the MAF. Need good tools to cut end off of the cone filter though
