Owners manuals are on eBay (http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&satitle=Lincoln+LS+Manual) from time to time:
Check with these other LS guys too. (http://www.lincolnsonline.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=forum&f=9)

I assume you are referring to the buttons on the radio not working.
Does the station information and clock dim when the headlights are on, and get brighter if you turn the headlights off? Do the buttons on the climate control come on with the headlights? If so, your problem is probably not a fuse.
I had a similar problem with the buttons on the radio in my Taurus SHO. It seemed suspiciously like a solder joint problem in my car because sometimes it would work, other times it would not. I removed my factory tuner/preamp (the factory receiver and amplifier is in the trunk), opened it up, and resoldered any joints that looked suspicious. A year later and it's still working flawlessly. The radio in my wife's '02 LS looks similar in design to the radio in my SHO.
