OK, so I'm getting a TV. With my $250 budget, i'm looking for a 27" stereo set. I prefer A/V jack in front and rear, and would like S-video, if available.

Here's what I'm looking at so far:
Sansui 27" Stereo TV with S-Video Input (http://www.bestbuy.com/detail.asp?e=11101075&m=1&cat=24&scat=27)

Sharp 27" Stereo TV with Rear S-Video and Front A/V Inputs (http://www.bestbuy.com/detail.asp?e=11100630&m=1&cat=24&scat=27)

Sylvania 27 in. Color TV with Remote Control (http://www.sears.com/sr/product/details/productdetails.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0613004916.102 0471224@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccgdadcfdgkjlihcehgcemgdffmdfil.0&vertical=SEARS&prod_id=05747202000&fromAuto=null&bidsite=null)

Magnavox 27 in. Color TV, Stereo with 21-Button Remote Control (http://www.sears.com/sr/product/details/productdetails.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@2144411369.102 0471225@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccccadcfdgflimhcehgcemgdffmdfim.0&vertical=SEARS&prod_id=05747311000&fromAuto=null&bidsite=null)

Shopping on a budget sucks. :( Any recommendations? And why doesn't the Magnavox have the I/O options listed?

It had one rear A/V jack and one R/F jack.

you can get a 32" Sharp at Wal-Mart for that much - 2 sets of RCA jacks & 1 S-Video input.

Personally I wouldn't get any of those. None of them are very good quality. I am sure you could get a Toshiba or Panasonic 27" for under $250 and they are damn good televisions. Just my opinion.

Nope, the only 27" for under $250 are the ones I've listed.

I can't find a Best Buy with the Sansui in stock, in person... I've seen the Sharp and Magnavox in person today. I'd prefer the Sharp out of those two...

Sharp would be my pick. I have a 27" that I bought a couple yrs back, and I couldnt be happier :)

They have good features, easy to use on screen displays, and a good array of ports. For the price, they can't be beat, IMO.

Amazon.com in association with Circuit City has:

This GE 27" (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000066HOD/qid=1020899282/br=1-16/ref=br_lf_e_16/002-6823716-5114447) as well. Just another option for ya.
