I was looking on www.passwordjdm.com and i saw these carbon brake rotors

here's the link

http://www.passwordjdm.com/product.asp?numRecordPosition=1&P_ID=1016&strPageHistory=cat&strKeywords=&SearchFor=&PT_ID=285

Anyway i was wondering if anyone has ever tried these or if anyone knows someone who has. Are they really worth the money??
You would really have to do some serious racing to need them.

I'm not looking to buy these but i had never heard of carbon brake rotors before so i thought i'd ask.

i know that...it says that on the website........but has anyone used them??

I really doubt it at the amazing price of $3800

I didn't read the web site, so sorry I didn't see that it said that already. But I personally would never pay $4,000 for only a set of rotors. An upgraded caliper is what really gives you a substantial increase in breaking power. For that price I would buy something proven to work like a full kit from Brembo.

Actually what really gives you better braking ability is better tires. That is the real limit of your braking potential. If your brakes can stop your car from 100mph in 10 feet it doesn't matter unless your tires can keep up (and they can’t). The real benefit to these rotors would not be vastly shorter braking distance but extremely long braking without fade or warping and extreme heat resistance... So unless you are entering your integra in an endurance race than this is a big expense that you will never see the real benefit of.
