ABS Braking Malfunction

I am the owner of a 2000 GMC Sierra G71 pickup truck. Over the past month my ABS motor has been going off at low speed when applying the break. The ABS motor makes a clicking noise and the pedal pulsates to the floor and the truck barely comes to a stop without crashing into something. Does anyone have any idea as to what this could possibly be and any suggestions on how to have it fixed without it being to costly? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had this same problem with my '98. There is a TSB out about it. You can test each front wheel speed sensor with it using a volt meter. I got ripped off by my dealer that said the techII reader says the reluctor was bad on both wheels. I didn't have the time to do the TSB and I gave them a copy of it. It saye "If the voltage shown when spinning the wheel is low, remove the sensor, clean, and re-test. If it fails again replace the sensor." These bozos replaced the whole f..ing hub at $450 each. I saved the parts and tested them in the parking lot. They didn't even remove the sensor from the hub to clean. The sensors are about $75 dealer. After fighting with the parts manager & dealer MGR I will never go to them again. My company also stopped buying trucks there.
