Help with AUX-POD installation

I am installing an AUX-POD in my '05 Monte. I made sure that I got a current wiring diagram and everything is connected correctly. I grounded the black to black and the 12v always on wire to the orange wire. However, when I turn the stereo to the Aux input, it goes silent and it's almost like the radio went dead.

Anyone have any possible suggestions, I'm stumped.
