Jail Time..?

Why is it, if you murder someone in like a small town in the midwest...you get like a life sentence of like 130 years (which is how it should be)...yet people you murder in cities, MAJOR cities, like NY and LA....get like 10-20 years.....?

well, if you bring his body in to the feds, I think they'd give you $150 million. Wasn't the reward for osama, either dead or alive?

Why is it that there are murderers who simply get probation for their first offenses? I'm sick of this 3 strikes rule for violent offenders.

This is because we have this thing in this country called a TRIAL. There are no set "this is what's gonna happen" when you break a law except for you're prolly gonna go to jail. There are all different classifications of murder. State offense, federal offense, 1st degree, 2nd degree, 3rd degree, manslaughter, etc... Peace-

nah its because the cities are over populated and they calculate how many murderers there are, and how many years before they need more murders, then they give them that amount of years.

In a small city, they dont need many murderers so they just give them a life sentence.













however, on a more serious note, killing someone while driving drunk is a mistake. You can only be punished for what you chose to do, and then be given manslaughter. He chose to drink and drive, so he got punished for that, and then got punished for manslaughter.

the father chose to murder someone. To purposefully go and end somebody's life. If you've ever seen interviews about people who accidentally killed somebody while driving drunk, they usually cry about it and you can tell they will never forgive themselves.

Someone with a deep understanding of human nature will forgive that person. Not their action, but the PERSON.

Somebody with no rationale or self control will go murder them.

I swear drunk drivers never learn their leason untill they hurt someone. I have friends who would always drink and drive. I'm not talking about having a couple then going home, I'm talking about getting shitfaced, going out somewhere, getting more shitfaced, then either driving around or drive home. When these people are at my house I've been known to go out to their car's are take radiator caps, plug wires, distributor caps, fuses, anything that will make the car not run. They're so drunk that when they go to start the car, and it won't start they just are like "fucking pos car" then come back inside and go to sleep. 3 people I know have gotten 2 or more dwi's and they still drive drunk even though they don't have a license. It's like it seriously takes them hurting/killing someone to get the god damned point across that driving drunk is not cool at all. Peace-

Great idea, doesn't work hardly ever for me at least. I tell people if we're chilling at my house and someone gets too wasted to drive then they're staying. Except, thats when you get into the whole "shut up, i'm straight to drive you don't know what you're talking about" convo and that either ends in a fight or the drunk person driving off. That's why if someone talks about leaving I just go fuck with the car real quick. Peace-
