I gonna go see it in about 3 hours. Personally, I don't think it will be able to come close to the original BATMAN movie!!!

you cant compare spiderman to superman or batman, cause spidey lives in the marvel universe, while batman and superman live in the DC universe. simple as that.

i think itd be easier to compare spider man to supoer man because they're both superheros. Batman technically isnt a superhero because he has no super power. Hes just a guy with alot of money and time on his hands.
That being said, spider man was good but i was actually a little disappointed. The green goblion looked liek a bad guy from power rangers and yeah, parker had no sense of humor.

Spiderman hasn't come out here yet, but I'm definitely going to go and see it when it does. :)

This is not Marvel Vs DC, i like Batman , Spider-Man , Super Man, Aquaman, X-Man ,etc.

I was going to see it, but eh, I'll wait til it comes out on DVD.

I personally really enjoyed the movie. It did have some problems but I won't mention them because they'd be spoilers. I think you're right that he didn't have near the sense of humor he should have, but some scenes were pretty funny. In any case, it's definitely worth the $7.25 (around here anyway) to see it in theatre. Don't wait 6+ months for the DVD altought that will rock!

:D :D OKay spyder man was one of the best comic to movie's every no movie with exeption to X-men had a more perfect production. Everything about Spyder man was perfect with the exeption of web coming outa his wrist WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pissed me off

But being the biggise gross movies to ever open... EVER!!!! it deserved it. But StarWars ep2 is the next one lets see how the clones hold up!!!!

All I can say is... What was up with that ending??????????????????? I wish i could go into more detail, but I'd spoil it for others who haven't seen it yet.


I'm not saying the "character" Spiderman is less cool than Batman... I'm talking about FILMs. The FILM "Btaman" was well-produced and really left me satisfied, if not fanatical. The FILM "Spiderman" was entertaining, and made my weekend better... but I won't be buying the soundtrack, DVD, or even thinking about it a year from now. Batman, on the other hand... I bought the laserdisk, soundtrack, poster, clothes... I went wild because that movie kicked ass!!! I even have Batmobile floor mats for my car (which I never put in). I idenitfy with Batman because his powers are man-made, whereas Super and Spidy are purely fictional.

I saw Spider-man! It tried, but it failed. The ending was lame and upset me. Why did he choose that? I would have dived in crotch first! Yeah, baby!

:eek: :eek: :confused: :rolleyes: okay i get it alot of u guys have never read the comic at all other wise you will notice that this "SpyderMan" followed the story exacly... well better than most other comic-movie productions. The ending was the way it was, exacly the same reason why 'Lord of the Rings" ended the way it ended, its a continuein story that is epic long not your normal bang bang win the girl live happily ever after bs. "SpyderMan" did not just have one issue, not 2, not 100, same reason why "Lord of the Rings" is 3 movies because its 3 novels... why do you think "Star Wars" is gona have 6 Episolds in the end??? its an Epic Story/Movie!!!!:p :silly2: :silly2: :p

"SpyderMan" was done perfectly story wise, it ended exacly where i would have ended it. It ended with the birth of a new Super hero, and a responsable one to boot. He choose the path to protect in stead of a selfish one. You gota love the ENDING!!!!
