The choices I have locally are A.R.E, Jason, Leer. There may be others, but those are the only ones I know of at this time. Anyone have any experience with any of these?
Thanks,

I bought my 1500 CC back in April 04, the pickup had just been recently out. With it having the super short bed 5'8" there were very few companies that had a cap available (Leer and Covermaster the ARE was about 1-2 months away). I found Covermaster, based out of Elkington Indiana. I love it. Limited lifetime warranty, and half the price of ARE, LEER and Snugtop. I paid $1100 bucks for mine installed with carpeted headliner and "Windoors" Side windows open up, painted to match from the factory. Def worth a look

One quick addition to it. One feature I reall like is it has a lip that runs around the outside so i sits down over the bed rails, really clean look. If you look at my pic you can see how it site further down than the light blue silvy behind it. Im not sure if any other companys do this

I don't know what brand of Canopy mine is but, if you want I'll go out and look for yah. I've got mine off right now as I'm doing so serious yard landscaping. I like the raked roof on mine as it allows for a larger entrance on the back for larger objects. They don't have to go in all the way it's just nice to fit them in at the entry point. The other nice thing is that it is nice and light 2 guys can pickup it up and drop it on the truck with no problems.
The downside, it has a small chip in the gelcoat from when I bought it. Not a big deal but, someday I'll have to fix it. The other thing is that it isn't painted. Being that the truck is white and the stock colour canopy is white they opted not to paint it. So it's a real bugger to keep a nice shine and coat of wax on.
Just my :2cents: !

Have an A.R.E. on mine. Only problem to date is that it no longer matches my truck. Went from pewter to white, need to get it repainted then will be fine.
