Convertible Canvas/Gasket Separation Problem

Hi-
I have a 1993 325i convertible. The back window was replaced last year but the canvas top keeps coming out of the gasket between the window and the canvas. Can anyone recommend a glue for fixing the canvas securely under the gasket? Also, can you suggest a way to insert the glue while pushing in the canvas? Thanks!!!!
