Me and my friend dove into my car head first and replaced the stock manifolds with Pacesetter Mid-lengths. The install was relatively simple, the new ones fit inside the tight spot great, the driver side bolts right up to the stock cat but the screws for it wasn't supplied, but the passenger side had to be cut and welded on which it wasn't welded perfectly straight so the Y-pipe is just resting on my tunnel brace for support, I gotta get an aftermarket Y-pipe and have it professionally installed for the perfect fit. we started it up without the Y-pipe on and it sounded so mean, I wanted to just leave it but we all know that's not going to happen. After we got it put together it sounded awesome but was idling really rough. The power kept coming and going like a cylinder wasn't firing. But my friend kept insisting it was the O2 sensor, dumbass. The next morning I tore into it again to make sure everything was connected, reset the SES light and took off, half an hour later the light came back on and the car was still running rough the whole time. So we went straight to Autozone and had it scanned. #2 wasn't firing. Sure enough all the paint on the pipe from #2 was still painted when every other pipe was peeled off already from the heat. We took it apart, it had spart, wire was fine, going to put it back in I saw the porcelain was cracked all the way around. We changed the plugs since we had everything tore apart and my friend dropped one on the ground. Thank god they have lifetime warranty :D replaced that in 10 minutes, fired it up and went out. WOW!!! What a difference, sound, power everything! runs great. I just gotta get that Y-pipe off my tunnel brace, it rattles some. I can't wait to pull up next to a Rustang or take it down the track!

isn't it GREAT when you strap those one, and you just "KNOW" you have to fire them open, even "IF" they did line and bolt right up.
it sounds SOOO demonic and yet so sweet, when you crack the throttle linkage and hear the crisp yet unrefined sound of sheer delight and power...
because it's in YOUR garage; not at the pits, the track, down the street:
YOU DID THIS!!!
almost brings a tear to your eye.
congrats...
(and look into those electronic solenoids for the dump pipe add-on.)
expensive; but that sound IS addictive.
