new paint job ?

hey im not really in to the whole painting thing so i had my buddys uncle who owns a macoo paint my car and im geting it back soon but wanted some experts advice on what i should use to keep it clean just the same old car wash soap or is there a special soap i should use another thing is how long does it take for the paint to cure thanks
