port and polish zc

I just wanted to know how much hp can i get from a valve job and a port n polish. about how much is a pnp? the only mods i have is a dc header, 2.5 piping , intake ,turbo2 muffler . the motor's a dohc zc. another thing whats the driffrent between clutches as far as stages 1,2,3? thanks

a valve job and pnp can net a nice gain, but they are fairly expensive, both into many hundreds of dollars but just call some machine shops in your area to be sure.

as far as clutchs go the higher the stage, the more power they can hold and handle. they will also become much stiffer and harder to engage the higher you go, so get one that falls into your cars HP range.

The Bull Frog company Ported and polished my head with a 5 angle v. job and other mods . It Cost a little under 2000 bucks and it give me about 70 hp, so you will get a nice gain for a nice big ass price but it costs to be the boss. As far as your other question, the higher the stage the harder it will bite and the stiffer it will be. If your civic is an everyday driver stay low with the stage like 1,2,or maybe 3. They tend to get heat up when you bang on your gears especially clutch master.
