I was just surfing ebay and found these....

Does anybody have these installed on their car? Did you notice any difference? I did a search and only found 1 thread that was relevent, and kevin had posted a shit load in it but I didn't follow a lot of it....I must be retarded. :screwy:
I'm not looking for a huge performance gain or anything, it just looks like a cheap mod that might have some little benefits if it does what they say. The other thing is, how exactly do you hook up something like that? I don't see any wires like those around the battery, but I didn't look all that close. Pics would be appreciated if somebody has them handy. Thanks guys.

Don't bother. You can make your own ground kit for like $10, it really doesn't do a huge amount. Maybe allow your lights to stay a little brighter when all your other electrical shit is turned on, but asides that it really doesn't do a whole lot.

I read an article once about grounding systems in Modified Mag, Import Tuner, HCI, or something like that. They dyno'ed a car with and with out those... there was like a small increase in hp... maybe like 3-4. So it wouldnt do a lot of good, but would probably help. Like david-b said, it is only $23 shipped...

Hey david you will have to let me know how you hooked it all up, because I have no idea where to start. Pictures would be awesome! I plan on getting them soon because they are really cheap, why not.

What you do is take your factory grounds off and replace them with the new ones. there are grounds all over the place.

that big head in the one you posted is the stupidist piece of crap ive ever seen. i wouldnt be surprised if it hit the bottom of the hood. there are much cheaper and easier ways to get the same results. just buy 10 ft of battery cable and some terminal ends and replace all of your stock grounding straps.

IMO if i got one it would be the Apexi one (little box) and lights up Apexi. Cost is more but you get what you pay for! Ebay... An ashtray with holes drilled in it for your new pretty wires..

I got the wires today. Ummm, yeah, they're a big piece of shit. The wires themselves are good, thick, and nice. The head piece is WAY TOO BIG!! My strut bar goes right over the negative battery terminal, so the massive head piece is too big. I had todo a little customization to make it fit. The head piece with the logo is kept off. I was installing it, but I accidently blew my alternator fuse, and cant get some until tm. I do have 2 wires installed, one going to the firewall, and then one going to the intake manifold. Have to lift the car to find the rest, (I think). Ill take some pics tom and post them up.

In this DSM Tuners write-up it says that you do hook one up to the alternator, but it doesn't say anything about a headlight ground. It has pretty good pics for anyone wanting to do their own and not buying one off eBay.

Nice. I shouldve probably just made one on my own. There wasnt nearly as much wire to do all of that. I might just pick up some wire and finish the rest myself. Thanks
