92 Integra starting problems

Hey all!
Got a 92 Integra that's randomly giving me problems starting up. It either starts fine, takes me couple tries...but sometimes I've been sitting there for 10-15mins. I can hear it trying to crank over but takes multiple tries to get it going. Twice it's died right after I got it started. Any ideas?
Also, It's an automatic..if I try to start it and it doesn't, and I dont put my key all the way back before I try to restart it like so that the battery isn't still running my deck and stuff...if it starts and I put it in drive it has the gear 's3' flashing and drives weird. I have to turn the car completly back off and restart it in order for it to drive normally and have it JUST in drive without the 's3' gear flashing at me. what gives?

Hey mine is the exact same thing, its your main relay. I didn't think it was mine until i had a guy look at it and he said it was, plus thats what most people on here told me. I havent had time to have it resouldered(sp) yet so its just hanging down, but everytime it doesnt start i just squeeze it together while turning the key so that it clicks and it works fine.

I asked my mechanic (but didn't have him look at it 'cause I had no money) He said it was either the distributer or the 'mail driller?' (I couldn't understand ANYTHING he was saying....super thick accent). But that worked for yours eh.....Did you ever run into the 's3' gear thing? I have no idea what that is

yeah that light blinks when its stuck in like 3rd gear or somethign so my brother told me(mechanic), so when its blinking its tryin to run in that gear. thats why it doesnt want to go anywhere
