T-5 Build up?

i just bought a 350 and it came with a t-5. and i have been told that these transmissions cant handle much.Does anyone know how to build one of these up for some power.or should i ditch the t-5 and get a different kind of manual.

I've heard the t-56 is the way to go, key word: heard

yep, the T56 is a six speed that would hold up fine behind the 350, but they're nothin cheap...

depends on the T5. If it's stock than it's proabably not worth putting in. Aftermarket t5's are supposedly built to take some abuse and I am toying with replacing my M22 with a 600HP t5 or switching out the 4.11's for 3.55's

Tc, i may being buying a T-5 next month. They can be built up i believe. You can get the World Class kit for it (seen them on ebay), or send it in somewhere, (i think those TKO people and have them beefit up for you) but yeah, i plan on puttin it in (if i get it) during the winter, along with the 305 rebuild.
