won't start

this is weird,,i went to pay my cable bill and 5 minutes later i was trying to go home but my car decided not to start,,,all I hear is a little click behind de radio,,nothing in the engine compartment,,it's a 90 eclipse 1.8,,,,,i'll apreciate any advice in this matter,,,thanks,,luis

Is it a fast click? If so that could be your battery. Or is it just one click...maybe your starter? Please be more descriptive.

The ecu makes a click when you turn on the car (usually your starting so you don't hear it) So thats probably the click. Check if you starter is getting power if so then take it to autozone and have them test it.

My 99 Nissan Sentra turns but will not start after the old engine was replaced with another used engine. It is a GA16DE engine (both are), There is voltage on terminal 5 on the camshaft Position sensor. Also there is voltage on terminal 1 on the crankshaft position sensor. However, there is no voltage on terminal 7 to the coil. But the IGN SW is okay and the ECM relay is fine.

The ECM sored code 21 or 0201 which means that the "the ignition signal in the primary circuit is not entered during engine cranking.

Could some tell me what to do in order to get voltage to the coil befor I go crazy?

Cut terminal 5 on the CPS and wire in a 30 Ohm resistor before attaching it to terminal 7 on the coil. Cut terminal 7 and ground it to the firewall. Next grab the end of the spark plug wire and have a friend try to start the car.

Thanks for the tip.....monday after midnight i decided to check all my fuses and relays,evething was fine,played around with every single conector just to be sure they were tight,gave it a shot and ,magic,,,the car is running again,,dont know yet what was wrong ,,,,,thanks for your time,,,,,,,,,
