Knock sensor for 89 Lesabre?

Can anyone give me a hint as to where the knock sensor is located on a 89 LeSabre?

My Haynes manuel says that it is under the throttle body but I don't think it is for my specific year.

I hope someone can tell me.

I've got the same problem in my 2000 lesabre. The manual says its under the throttle body but it's not there. I was wondering if any of the more experienced gear heads have a better idea as to the location of the knock sensor. thanks.

It is on the side of the block, under the exhaust manifold. It looks like a little mushroom.
