I Have A 98 Sentra Gxe With A Weird Problem,
Whenever I Make A Turn Either Right Or Left There's This Clicking Sound, Now Its Only Sometimes And My Father In Law Who Is A Mechanic Drove It And Looked At It And Said He Did Not Know The Problem. Maybe Cv Joints? And If It Is How Hard Would It Be For Me To Do It Myself?? Thanx

yep, sounds like cv joints. i replaced my passenger side awhile ago.. maybe it was drivers side.. I'd have to check.. but all i had to do is take off the tire, then un bolt tirerod end, and then lower the "a" arm, and it pulled right out. now its been awhile, so someone correct me if im worng.. but i didnt change mine until the clicking was all the time..

Shit, I waited until it was basically grinding and it was still all good. No extra repairs needed.

I'd say there's about a 95% chance it's a bad CV-shaft.
I replaced one on my brothers Sentra a while back, and it's not too bad. Takes a couple hours. You'll need a 32mm socket to take off the spindle nut, and maybe a pickle fork to drop the ball joint from the control arm, but that's about it for special tools. Lightly pry between the inner joint and transmission, and it should come right out.
