What's the minimum valve lash you can run on a honda? I set mine back to stock spec - and I'm still getting lots of clicking. Engine runs a little smoother, but it's still clicking even when it's warmed up. Can I do a smaller valve lash like .006 or .005 and still be safe?? Or will that just make the clicking even worse?

go with factory settings...that engine will positively burn an exaust valve if they're to tight. some valve noise is expected from that engine if it is excessive, you have a lubrication problem. possibly low oil pressure.

Ya, I did it cold - maybe I just want the engine to be quieter - he he - I'll redo them again and make sure they are at factory.
