Hey Everyone,
First I just want to say how much this forum has saved me time, effort and mucho dinero. Entertaining and Informative. You guys rock!!
Here is my dilemma, alarm system engages, but horn doesn't sound, car locks just fine. I recently replaced the Alarm Control Switch (which fixed the Intermittant Wiper problem that I've had). I have checked the alarm engagement button underneath the hood and everything seems ok, but still no horn sound. But the horn works fine. Am I looking at a relay problem in the fuse panel? grounding issue? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Plus the 2nd whammy, 100 degree temps in DC Area with no A/C. Went out on me two weeks ago. Blue light comes on just fine, fan blows out hot air. Had it checked for Freon...fully charged. Ohh wise-ones what could it possibly be...the compressor? condensor?
Thanks again for all the help...

For the alarm issue, I'd check to see if the horn near the hood pin switch is plugged in and operational. For the a/c, is the compressor cycling on/off? If the refrigerant is fully charged w/ no leaks and the compressor wont cycle, I would suspect a pressure switch. A bad compressor *usually* will leak refrigerant or try to engage & smoke the electric clutch.

Thanks for the info Rodeo-2. I will check the connection under the hood between the hood pin and the horn. If the connection is fine, where else should I look? As far as the A/C, there is no refrigerant leakage (which is great) and it is fully charged. I plan on taking the truck to my mechanic for further analysis and pray that it is only the switch.
Thanks again,
