98 Camry- Stalling- fuel pump?

Yesterday, I got off the interstate, and while driving, my car stalled. It stopped moving, no gas (or acceleration), no RPMs. I put it in park, restarted it, and it was fine. It has 130K. Not sure what's wrong. Somebody said it needs a new fuel pump. Any suggestions?

No way to tell what's wrong. The next time it dies and won't start, then you can troubleshoot it. Not likely that it's the fuel pump.

Try pouring a can of Dry-Gas. It worked for me.

The EGR vavle is most likely sticking.. the EGR valve will open and when you get off the highway it shold close.... if it doesn't, it will make the car stall. When you crank the motor over again the valve can unstick and close, enabling restarting.

Clean your EGR , its easy and you will have to do it anyways in the future, and there is a good chance that it will solve your problem.

ISC/IAC clean that.
