Can't shake this blasted code on my '96 3.3 Dodge Caravan. After changing plugs, plug wires, and coil pack the service light comes back on.

This could be an injector problem. You may need to replace the injector on the cylinder where you have the problem. Take the care to autozone and have them scan it with a scanner to really pinpoint which cylinder is misfiring. Once that has been done then swap out an injector from another cylinder and see if the code changes. If so replace the bad injector and the problem should be cured.

I had the same problem on my '96 GC LE 3.8L. It turned out to be the upstream O2 sensor.

I have code #43
No power, back fires. I can feather it up to highway speeds and it runs great
if I do not accelerate. Come to a hill or grade and it backfires
Hard to shift through all gears but it does get there. In neutral revving the engine causes a mis. Maybe only one or two cylinders. I have no diagnostic equipment. Now I think this:
Cam sensor
crank sensor
egr valve
bad plug or wire, would that backfire?
It idles so good and smooth
At steady speads on highway it runs good.
I put new exhaust system in so it's not plugged up, but it acts that way.
Code 43 say coil ignition primary problem
What is secondary ignition?
