Stereo problem!

The other day i was driving in my Toyota Echo and the speakers suddenly went out. The volume was hardly turned up. But then it made a single crackle and just went out. It does not buzz or hiss or anything. What's the problem???

check the power, and fuse.

well, the power still comes on the radio, but nothing comes through the speakers

any power going thru the speaker wires?

i think that might be the problem; a loose connection
